Publish first blog post
If your new website is blog or part of your page is blog, publish your fits blog post immediately after website launch. Write blog post, often post and reply to every comment.

If you built mailing list with your Coming soon page or you already have mailing list it is important to send notification about launch.

Send news to relevant media
If it suits you, you can announce your new website in the media.
Take care of SEO
Even before the launch makes sure that the content will be optimized and also new content will be optimized. If your site is new, be patient. It takes some time to search engines notice your page.
Take care of redirects and make sure that all your pages are getting indexed
If you renovate your page, take care of redirects so you don’t lose any traffic that is finding your old pages. Make sure that all your pages are getting indexed.

Get your business on Google My Business
You can put your business on Google My Business and your business information will be available on Google Search, Maps and Google+.
Setup a Google Alert
Do you know that with Google Alerts you can monitor the Web for interesting new content? By setting Google Alert to monitor your website name, you can get be notified when someone searches or put on your web your name. In my experience it is not 100% reliable tool, it is still quite useful.
Promote your website on Google and Facebook
If suits you, the new website you can advertise on Google and Facebook.
Setup and monitor Analytics
If you don’t have analysts already set up before launching, then now is the right time to do it. 🙂 The great tool for monitoring analytic is Google Analytics. Follow analytic, analyze what content is the most popular on your site and which parts can be upgraded.
