Want to make better Instagram Stories? Here are some tricks you probably don’t know about! 😉
When Instagram Stories arrived, I was bit disappointed, because I’d been trying to get into SnapChat but couldn’t… So I gave it a try, and I loved it.
Watching other people’s stories is so great and fun (and can be time-consuming) and also sharing my own is fun too. 🙂
If you haven’t already tried it, try it! 🙂 It’s fun and something like vlogs – on Instagram. Your stories (video or image) disappear after 24 hours.
9 Hidden Hacks For Instagram Stories
1. Create a Drop Shadow Effect on Your Text in Instagram Stories
Write out your message in one color and then write out the exact same message using a different color. Arrange the top layer of text so that it’s slightly off-center from the bottom layer of text.
2. Add Tags in Instagram Stories
Tap on sticker icon, and choose hashtag. Write hashtag you want. If you then go to this hashtag your story should appear.
3. Mention Other Accounts in Your Instagram Stories
Tap the “Aa” icon and start typing @ symbol followed by the username of the account you’d like to mention. Select the account you want to mention.
4. Customize Your Color in Instagram Stories
Tap the pen or the “Aa” icon and press down on any of the color circles and pick the specific shade you want from the spectrum that appears.
5. Color Your Screen in Instagram Stories
Tap the pen icon and select a color. Tap and hold on the screen for 1-3 seconds until the screen is filled with a solid color.
6. Upload Photos or Videos in Instagram Stories
On new story screen just swipe down/up on a screen and you’ll see your videos and photos from the last 24 hours to choose from. Pick one and share.
7. Check How Your Instagram Stories are Performing
Open your story, swipe up on the screen and you will see number as well as the names of people who have seen your story.
8. Pause, Skip, Go Back and Skip to the Next Person’s Stories
To skip a post, tap the right side of the screen to move forward to the next post and to go back, just tap the left of the screen. Tap and hold on the screen to pause a story and skip to the next person’s stores with swiping right on the screen.
9. Hide Specific Users’ Instagram Stories
To hide an account from your Stories feed, hold down your finger on their picture, then select “Mute…”.
Do you like Instagram Stories? Have you discovered anything that I should add to the list?
p.s. today I have also sent new template for planning blog post in July, if you don’t know what I talking about, you should check this post.
