The holiday season is fast approaching and if you are an entrepreneur, then this is probably an important time for you. The first 27.11.2020 Black Friday is time for crazy discounts.
And to lower your stress level, this year you can prepare your business earlier! I’ve prepared you a list of what to prepare on the website and what to design so that Black Friday (and probably the whole weekend) will run smoothly and successfully!
Even if you don’t like discounts and Black Friday… the fact is that the shopping excitement is definitely higher during this time.
So maybe it’s worth taking advantage of it?!
Be creative and prepare the offer that will vibrate with you and your ideal customer!
Content
Imagine a great campaign, of course not necessarily just a discount. You can offer a bonus, product/service packages or any other big surprise for your customers. Let yourself be free and let your imagination run wild.
When you decide, however, the contents you will probably need is:
- for the website (e.g. landing page, invitation);
- to announce discounts on social media;
- to announce on the news;
- for promotion (if you plan to advertise).
Graphics
When the content is ready you have a good overview of which graphics and images you will need. Some ideas:
- banner for website,
- pictures and graphics for the landing page,
- banner for e-news,
- for posting on Facebook,
- Cover for Facebook,
- Instagram post,
- Instagram, Facebook Stories,
- for posting on Linkedin,
- for posting on YouTube (Cover, Thumbnail),
- for posting on Pinterest,
- for ADS …
Ugh, they just pile up, right? But the most exhausting thing is that the graphics are not prepared in advance and they need to be prepared when you want to publish. Do you agree?
… and inevitable stress on the horizon.
Therefore, it is better to prepare as much as possible in advance and avoid stress. Of course, you don’t have to discover hot water to design every graphic! Graphics can only be a mutation for different sizes.
The website
You should also prepare your website. It is necessary:
- to add a new landing page (if you decide to have one),
- check the performance and speed of the website,
- add a banner for Black Friday,
- add a discount e.g. to the online store, if you plan to do this,
- check the links (that they really work),
- check that the site is customized for mobile phones,
- check that the purchase process/inquiry form works normally.
Great, now you’re much better prepared for Black Friday. I hope you do great!
