When first starting business can be scary and exciting at the same time! Starting to build a brand is not easy, but with having a good visual identity can be easier.
Today I share with you a new brand identity for Urša from CANINAVIVA – dog massage.
I start with an inspiration board, gathering images and pairing colors to create a “feel” and an aesthetic to work from throughout the entire project.
I try to come up with 3 distinct logo concepts for my clients to give them variety, and I ask them for thorough feedback on each one to find out what they like and perhaps dislike about them (ok, for this project I have more ideas, so more concepts). I like to find out their first impressions before I give my opinion on which concept I think is the best fit.
There are many variables to consider when designing a logo, but versatility is one of the key things I focus on. These other logo options are often a better fit for things like email signatures, page footers, website, social media, etc. So I alway prepare different formats and icons.
I really enjoy designing it and I am so grateful to work with Urša on this project.
