What is a good logo?
Pretty?
Say a lot about business?
Strong?
It should be pretty, but also say one thing – or even better, say nothing and feel a lot!
It should be strong and powerful.
So, a good logo needs to be:
1 | Appropriate
This is a feeling. What is appropriate for your business? This should be a creation that fits your organization/business.
2 | Distinctive
It should be distinctive and memorable, so it persists in the mind (think of the Apple logo, for example). This is not generic, but it is the opposite of ordinary – extraordinary, unique. Something that has never been seen before.
3 | Simple
A logo is not an illustration it is a simple mark. Evergreen mark that represents business trough year and it is not modern or old looking – it is timeless.
So good logo has all those tree points: appropriate, distinctive, and simple.
