Yes, finally! Holiday!
… and out of nowhere you’re back at work.
Let’s be real. If you don’t or do enjoy your work we all need a break. Time to relax. Time to re energize and restore creativity that will fuel new projects. Right? Going back to work can be hard or not. Just apply the following tips to your first days back at work and it might not be as hard as you think it is:
Prepare in advance
The most important one! Before you start your holiday prepare in advance. Take some time and write down all your projects. For every project write down what you did and what should be done when you come back. Delegate all important task, that can’t wait. Turn on e-mail out-of -office autoreply to prevent any misunderstanding. Your out-of -office autoreply needs to be short and straightforward (also who to contact if necessary can be useful).
When you prepare everything in advice you can relax, enjoy your vacation and no need to be worried. 😉
Get Back Into Good Habits
Wake up early, take some time for yourself-like workout and make yourself healthy breakfast. Plan your day and start it productive and in positive mood. Also schedule separate time for both work and leisure in your calendar and then stick to your plan.
Decrease the clutter
Clean and declutter your desk. With clean and organized working space it will be easier to be focused and more productive. If you like add some fresh flower and make your working space motivating as much possible.
Be grateful
Everybody can’t take vacation, or can’t afford. Be happy and grateful that you can. To remember yourself you can print out vacation photo and keep it on you desk.

I think the key is to enjoy what you do. If you don’t like what you’re doing, I think it’s wise to get out of it. Aside from seeing my kids, I actually look forward to going back to work after an amazing vacation. Before I go on trips, I also make a list of tasks and projects I need to work on first as soon as I’m back on my desk so I don’t get overwhelmed with work.

Totally agree, but sometimes is hard to get out of it (but wise!) and go forward.

Great tips dear, sometimes we lose the track of basics when focusing on the bigger picture
