Has it ever happened to you that you procrastinate on a task that would take you just a few minutes? The reason for procrastination is that you have no idea where exactly all the documents you need for this task are.
Ugh, you’re not alone!
Or you procrastinate with starting a new project because you don’t know where to start (even though you looove this project, but every time you want to start it, you don’t feel ok).
What the first step even is?
Or… preparing for accounting take you 1 day a month instead of a max 30min?
Maybe you work, work, work and you’re crazy busy, but don’t have a bigger vision or growth plan for your business?
Do you feel not enough to take 1 day off? Because… you know what can be done in just one day…
Or you have 100+ unread emails. This to be 0, however, is more like the mission impossible.
Feel you. And you know what can follow?
Burnout…
Low energy…
And if you really ask yourself, you can quickly figure out that you spend a lot of time (read way too much) on tasks that don’t satisfy you, you just don’t enjoy them…
Still, they are a must!
But there is a way you will do them much faster.
So in today’s post….
3 Ways to Save Your Business Money and Time
Because… TIME = MONEY
1 | Use e-mail templates
Email templates may seem impersonal, pointless because each mail is a story by itself, they take up too much time…
Now imagine that you are in a hurry and just have to send one more mail to the client and explain to her what the next steps are for your coaching and suggest her a first appointment.
How long would it take you to write such an email?
What if you already have the framework prepared and you have only to insert an appointment date and adjust text if necessary?
A big difference, isn’t it?
Now imagine that many times customers ask you for additional information. You add this information to the template so that all future customers will also receive it.
And you will also look more professional, right?
That’s why e-mail templates are really useful and recommended. You can prepare them from scratch, or browse through old e-mails.
2 | Process automation
True, not everything in business can be automated, nor is it recommended.
However, many things can be and can save you a lot of time and money with automation.
Eg. if you are selling services or products, add to the website all the information a potential customer needs to make a purchase decision.
In this way, you avoid a whole bunch of additional questions, as well as appear more professional in the eyes of a potential client.
In the next step, you can fully automate the purchase process with an online store, where the customer makes the purchase and payment. If the products are digital, the customer also automatically receives them after payment, if they are not, it is your job – the only part of the non-automated process (much less, right).
What if I have to find out more about a client to even find out if we are fit?
In this case, you can offer all the necessary information on the website so that the customer is aware of your offer and if she/he likes it, can fill in the “contact” form.
But, this form is not quite ordinary!
In this form, you can ask the questions you need to make a decision and avoid a whole bunch of unnecessary emails. If instead of a questionnaire, you want a free personal consultation – you can also automate this part: you set appointments in advance when you are available for meetings – and the client just selects and reserves the desired dates.
In short… consider all the processes you can automate and make the work easier for yourself and your potential client.
3 | Strategic planning
It’s not so hard as it may seem.
It is about planning business, projects according to the system, to make the most optimal use of time and reach the set goals with the least possible effort!
My suggestion is: first you need a broader picture – goals for at least 1 year (not tied to the new year!). Then strategically arrange those goals by month, break them down into smaller sets of tasks, and break them down by weeks, and then individual tasks by days.
When a larger goal is divided into smaller pieces, it is much easier to finish them.
