Do you have your own business and focus only on your primary job?
And your business is not growing as you would like?
A successful business needs attention in three major areas.
No, it’s not enough to focus on just one if you want your business to grow successfully.
In this post, I share with you these three areas + free template to help you plan smoothly and quickly every time!
1 | Revenue
Because we are talking about a business and not a hobby, this is one of the most important parts of any business. Of course, it’s great and wonderful that this isn’t the only reason for your business. However, we probably agree that it is a very important part and also the key to “survival”.
How can you plan revenue on a monthly basis?
Ideally, if you have a plan/goals for at least a year or 6 months or ¼ years.
Then you just work out the monthly plan and plan the implementation.
First, think about what kind of revenue you can generate.
Use your imagination!
Some ideas to make it easier for you to get started: product sales, services, smaller services, workshop, guest lectures, administration, help, advice, mentoring, online program…
Don’t limit yourself, write down all the options, I’ll show you the system later to help you choose the right ones.
2 | Awareness
However, to be able to sell whatever you have imagined in the previous point, it is necessary to present it to the public. That is why it is important to build awareness.
I don’t have guerrilla techniques in mind!
More something like remaining to yourself (or your business) in a nice and friendly way.
Again, I invite you to take a few minutes and think about all the ways you can improve awareness. This is usually a long-term procedure that does not grow overnight.
Some ideas to make it easier to get started: blog, posts on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest…), Facebook group, free online/offline workshops, freebies, newsletter, podcast guest, media post, collaboration with other entrepreneurs…
Don’t limit yourself, write down all the options, I’ll show you the system later to help you choose the right ones.
3 | Efficiency
Being efficient means doing everything you need to do in the shortest time possible and automating and optimizing everything possible. Yes, I know that everything can’t be automated and some things are not even recommended, but why not optimize what is possible…
Some ideas to make it easier to get started: automated mailing lists (access to freebies, subscriptions, automatic e-mail sequences), automatic or at least prepared e-mail responses, mailing list growth system, online shopping system (eg online store), all published information that a potential customer needs and does not need to obtain over and over again, a schedule of daily tasks, the use of a planning calendar…
Don’t limit yourself, write down all the options, I’ll show you the system later to help you choose the right ones.
System: how to tackle and decide which ideas to choose and implement in the coming month?
Once you have all the ideas gathered, think about each one:
How much do you want to make it happen?
If you disregard all obstacles, how eager are you to carry out an individual idea? Score from 0 – 10 (0 = not at all, 10 = I really want to).
How is this idea doable?
Is this idea financially, timely doable? Do I need extra help? Invest in knowledge? Rate from 0 – 10 (0 = not at all, 10 = completely doable).
Is this a short-term, medium-term or long-term goal?
For each idea, then consider whether this goal is more short-term, medium-term, or long-term.
To make it even easier for you, you can download an already prepared template, which will make the further procedure even easier:

How do you choose monthly goals?
Choose the monthly goals for each area by sum points for each idea. The ones with the highest total and the “short-term” label are best to tackle first.
In the freebie above, these most suitable goals will be colored automatically!
Plan their implementation and repeat monthly. 🙂
For additional motivation, write in the comment below, which goals for the next month will you do first.
