2020 is almost finished and this is also the time when there is a higher desire for changes, a new beginning, setting goals …
Is this something you can relate to? Or you don’t like changes and setting goals?
If first … great! I have a very special gift for you today.
If second … maybe it’s time to try something new!?
Setting goals without a plan and steps to achieve them it is more like a wish. Maybe a thought.
What if you try to take a step forward and making plans to achieve them? If you like this idea I can even help you with a template that will lead you to set and plan goals! Sounds interesting?
Yeeey, you can get a free Google template here:
And now it is… time to plan!
1 | Collect and evaluate ideas
First write down ALL ideas, whatever comes to your mind. Even if it’s crazy, impossible, or whatever… write it down. I think there is enough space in the template! 😉 For each idea then check if it is good. Check if the answer is YES – by the SMARTI method, where it means:
S – is the goal specific?
M – is the goal measurable?
A – is the goal achievable?
R – the goal leads to a concrete result?
T – can I time the goal?
I – does this goal inspire you?
Good ideas will become green. Those are the best ones – great candidates for your goals. Choose the goals that fit you the best. Add them to the next tab.
Tip: take time for the idea, you know how it goes… the best ideas you get when you don’t expect. Don’t forget to write them down as soon as they pop into your head.
2 | For each goal add tasks
For each goal, write down the tasks needed to be done to achieve a goal. Also, set a date for each task when it will be completed.
When the task is done, mark it as done.
3 | Add tasks to the calendar
Every task add to the calendar, so you have an overview for the whole month and all goals.
Tip: check this tab regularly, e.g. set a date in the month when you check what has been done and what comes.
If you haven’t already, you can get your free Google template below. If you prefer, you can also print it and plan goals using the same procedure.
