Tell us a little bit about yourself…
I’m Lejla, a former professional ballerina. From the age of 6, all in my life turned around ballet, my most immense love till then. I lived my dreams on stages in France and National Opera in Ljubljana. It came the moment where I felt the need to experience the freedom outside the ballet world. My path led me to Berlin, where I studied Body Life coaching. Well, after a period, I noticed how much I missed the dance. Now I invest all my knowledge and passion for helping clients gain strength & flexibility through ballet-inspired training and move them elegantly into confidence and self-care.
What inspired your career?
My current carrier encouraged the wish to offer people a safe space where they enjoy exercising, come in touch with self-care and fill up their batteries. I wanted to show them the beauty of ballet’s way of moving. My training is modern, on fresh music and adapted so everyone can do it. I call it Ballet Barre Workouts.
What does your day look like? Walk us through your typical day…
In the morning, I take 10min to meditate in silence or do a few breathing exercises. I write my intentions for the day in a book. After I look at the schedule that I usually prepare the night before and do my tasks. In the afternoon, I go for a walk if I have training at the studio or Livestream in the evening. If my evening is free, I love to meet a friend, visit a cool event, enjoy a good movie, or in the current situation, a Livestream concert. I love to relax in the bath with salt, workout, or reading.
What is your favorite failure that sets you up for later success?
My biggest “unsuccess” was living over my borders, and consequently, I burned out. I lived under very intense rhythm and ballet dancer career pressure, which demanded the whole of me on the highest level. I suppose too much and too long. That’s why I lost the joy of something I loved the most. That time was painful to realize that you can lose passion for something you love the most when there’s no space for taking care of yourself.
When you feel unfocused or not motivated what do you do?
When I’m unmotivated, I turn on the music and dance or sing a little. This feeling comes up mostly when there are no results, I wish. I try to remind myself that I want to express my gifts and knowledge into the world creatively and help sbd. That’s why I continue, and more isn’t in my control.
If you could send a mini message to all people, what would it be?
I want to encourage you to keep taking time for your self-care. Don’t skip the things/activities that you love and fill up your batteries. Especially when you’re fully busy, just then you’ll be doing your best. When you take care of yourself, I believe that life will take care of you too in beautiful ways.

What advice would you give to someone starting a business journey?
Stay with yourself and watch your path. When it’s difficult, remember why you do what you’re doing. Be aware that you’re more than your work and successes in this area. Small constant steps bring you forward, for sure. So patience is the key. Mostly, don’t forget to include beautiful “me” time.

Wow. I also forget about myself, self-care… then also work is no longer such a pleasure. So now I take care of myself regularly – it is even on my calendar (it’s part of the “work”!).
