We spend a few days on the Croatian coast. This time we went to Turanj, beautiful tourist place only few kilometers from Zadar and Biograd na Moru, along with the close National parks Krka and Kornati, Park of nature Vransko lake and has about 1200 inhabitants.
The coast offers a number of opportunities, from small hidden bays all the way to the typical tourist beach. My favorite is somewhere in between
In the evening, in the centre and at the surrounding beaches there are many activities. From events, concerts along with gastronomy offer.
It is also interesting walks to Biograd na Moru on the routes along the coast with spectacular views of the city. To the Biograd na Moru we needed about one hour, which can be a little bit long walk. But definitely worth.
With all water activities offered Turanj, this time I tried driving with sup. And … it was awesome and definitely not the last time! Even Chilli, who over the water is not the most excited is she takes some steps. 🙂
What do I like most in Turanj?
Beautiful beaches and clear waters are certainly the main reasons. I like to be able to step back and find a hidden bay, or get some of the water activities at the beach. In the evening, walk through the main street is great with different experiences. From a concert at one end, to the culinary experiences on the other. 🙂 I also like the location because you can walk to Biograd na Moru or take road trip to Zadar.
This summer is ideal for spending time with your family in the beautiful seaside village Turanj and can perhaps be a good idea for your next vacation..
Which is your favorite seaside town, which would be worth to visit?
